As part of the Greenville Museum of Art’s exhibition, “Growing up Queer in the South”, Sweet and Innocent is a historic recreation of my childhood bedroom of the 1970s. This red shag carpeted installation consist of many of my favorite things: Donny Osmond poster, lava light, mushroom stool, am radio, and Tiger Beat magazines.
